The Bible Translator’s Assistant uses natural language generation technology to get more than just a New Testament into the hands of nondominant language communities. I got to work with them for a class last spring. By developing a ontology for every language and expressing documents with rich annotations, The Bible Translator’s assistant creates natural-sounding prose in a way that can scale across thousands of languages and resources.
